"Laurent is the ideal host and was always available to answer questions that we may have. The cottage that we stayed in was one of three in his wonderful gardens which make the accomodation a wonderful place. The smaller cottahe that we stayed in has some lovely rustic charm however if you are expecting a modern kitchen and large a flat screen TV then you are missing the idea of why you should stay here - the cottage and the area remove you from having ''all mod-cons'' and allow you to spend a relaxing time in a part of France that is in a different league. The local area is lacking a shop but if you are in Bouquellon then you have already driven so a short car trip to Pont Audemer is only 10 minutes and there are a number of large supermarkets to do your normal weekly shopping. For meat, fish, bread and cheese (and wine) then there are some extra special shops along the main street in Pont Audemer. We cooked each evening rather than eating at a restaurant but there are plently of places to dine out if you want to. We hope to return again to stay with Laurent at La Bergerie. It is a place that allows the soul to recover and the mind to relax!!"

"The old and cozy house is good for family holidays far away from city noise and bustle. There is a beautiful garden with view on Seine. The owner is good and decent gentleman."

"Wij zijn Zondagavond laat ontvangen door de gastheer Lauren C. met cidre en kaas uit de omgeving.Wij hebben een fijne week gehad.Het huisje is prima en netjes,mooie grote tuin en prachtige bloemen.Het uitzicht is prachtig.De hele omgeving incl.dorpen en steden zijn zeker de moeite waard.Dat wij hier nog een keer naar toe gaan is zeker.Bedankt.Een aanrader!!!"

"het kleine huisje vonden we wel erg klein en gelukkig konden we 7 dagen in het grotere huis blijven, dat was geweldig, netjes, stil, prachtig uitzicht, alles was aanwezig en deed het ook, we hebben genoten van de openhaard en laurent is een geweldige gastheer. we werden ontvangen met een fles appelcider en mochten kruiden uit de prachtige tuin plukken. na 7 dagen gingen we in het kleinere huis en dat was eigenlijk ook heel goed te doen. er zijn heerlijke bedden in beide huizen, wat we niet zo gewend zijn in frankrijk. de omgeving is prachtig en we hebben echt waar voor ons geld gehad en gaan zeker over een tijdje nog eens terug. de beide huizen zijn sfeervol ingericht en aan alle kleine dingen is gedacht, kortom we hebben genoten en tot nu toe is dit ons mooiste huis geweest wat we ooit gehuurd hebben. laurent, merci beaucoup et tout suit"

"C''est une petite maison de poupée comme on les aime, nichée au coeur du marais vernier. Jolie chaumière, décoration chaleureuse, propriétaire attentionné, calme de la campagne...belles perspectives pour un joli week-end en normandie !"
