" Being right in the very centre of downtown allows you to have everything within hand reach: Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Plaza de la Opera: The beautiful Royal Palace and Plaza de Oriente are just 5 minutes walking. You also have in a very short walk “Gran Via”, all cinemas, theatres, musicals, famous shopping centers as “Corte Inglés” or FNAC.
All kind of restaurants are all around.
You can cross Plaza Mayor and go have “tapas” to Cava Baja and Cava Alta.
Also very close are the bohemian neighbourhoods of “Huertas” and “Chueca”.
Retiro park and the exclusive shopping area of Serrano – Velazquez are only within 6 or 8 minutes by underground as well as the famous museums as Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofia.
