" In 15-20 minutes by car you can reach the beautiful beaches and fascinating rocky coves which retain an extraordinary state of naturalness with water clear and beautiful seabed. To the East you will find the beaches of Isola dei Gabbiani and Palau, more equipped for sports such as sailing, windsurfing, scuba diving, and finally the charming Costa Smeralda We recommend a tour among the islands of the archipelago of La Maddalena, starting from the port of Palau. Inland you can make walks or bike through the woods of holm oaks and cork trees, alders along streams, around granite rocks shaped by wind in unusual shapes and you should not miss visiting the impressive olive trees of Luras 3000 years old!! The area offers many archaeological sites of the nuraghic period. You can enjoy typical dishes in several farms holidays of the area or participate in traditional feasts at the small country churches in which from spring to autumn you can find authentic peasant cuisine of Gallura. "
