"My husband, sister and I, stayed for 1 week in the upper apartment. We were delighted with the accomodation which was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom and kitchen facilities were excellent and the apartment was situated in a quiet, leafy suburb. Cindy (the owner)was extremely helpful, providing us with advice and tips on getting around London. Once we became familiar with the train system, access to different parts of the city was no problem. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in charming Hillyfields and would love to stay there again on any future visit."

"The upstairs apartment at Hillyfields is lovely--clean, extremely comfortable, well-equipped, roomy and decorated and maintained with care. The neighborhood of restored 19th-century terraced houses has charm, is quiet and feels completely safe, and the nearby commercial street, while not especially fashionable, has several good eateries and all the necessary shops. The park, which is barely 5 minutes away on foot, is huge and has a brand-new playground--a plus if you have kids. Our only quibble was that the apartment felt farther from central London than the ad implied. The train times and connections listed are accurate. But you must also factor in walking to the station (about 10 minutes), waiting for a train and then a long walk through the London Bridge Underground station followed by a ride on one or two Tube lines before you reach your destination. It took us a couple of days to really get the hang of it, and it still felt as if transport took up larger chunk of our day than we would've liked. That said, the price is absolutely reasonable, the owner professional and responsive and the apartment delightful. If you don't mind the commute, Hillyfields is a real winner."

"Our stay at Hillyfields was delightful. Cindy was so helpful to us, even when our trip was in question due to the volcano eruption that halted air travel. When we did arrive, we had no trouble at all with the lock system and found the apartment to be just as advertised... clean, and comfortable. The neighborhood was surprisingly quiet and the garden serene. We loved the short walk to the park, up the road and watched a beautiful sunset from there. The train system was easily acessed a short distance away and made it easy to go to and from London. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for something just outside of the city."

"From day one (inquiries and booking), Cindy was very helpful in planning our trip. It was of good omen and we were not disappointed. The flat was huge, very comfortable and in top shape upon arrival. Everything was as advertised. No surprises. The neighborhood was quiet and although we didn't use it, the garden looked charming. The travel to downtown London was easy and fast. Thanks to Cindy for the more than adequate information. We followed her advice and sometimes used the bus to go to town. A nice way to really see the city and its inhabitants. Stores were close by and the restaurant near the train station is the best deal in town (5,99 pounds for a curry and a beer or glass of wine. Unbeatable) We highly recommend this flat. We were only 3 people but we're sure it can easily accommodate larger families."
