Best points about the property:

" Nice and tidy flat, in a very central zone of Lisbon (close to Graça, Panteão Nacional, São Vicente de Fora, Alfama, Mouraria and station of international and national trains - Santa Apolónia). Here, you are in the true and typical Lisbon, very close to the zones which resisted the earthquake of 1755, but also to Baixa, the zone which was built afterwards, as well as much other important tourist points. Even people who you find here are more typical, but ecletic too. However, if you want to go to more modern zones of Lisbon (as Parque das Nações, the place of Expo98) or outside the city (like Sintra and Cascais, which are so beautiful places, or even Oporto), you may arrive there easily thanks to the existence of good and several means of transport near the appart (bus, the famous tram 28 which takes you in a good and long historical course, subway, train, taxis). In Santa Apolónia (5-10 minutes walking from the flat), you find the bus 28 which takes you to Belem (don't forget to eat pastéis de Belém there and the Cultural Center). Easy parking, on the street. All kinds of shops (supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, butcheries, bakery...) nearby. Very calm and safe zone, as well as the country in general. CHEAPIER PRICES FOR LONGER STAYS. " Esplanade bar in Miradouro da Graça (I truly recommend it), Miradouro de Nossa Senhora do Monte (splendid! only 5-7 minutes walking from the flat), Miradouro de Santa Luzia and Miradouro da Penha de França, all with spectacular sights to the city and the river. Stroll in the famous tram 28, tourist and historical celebrity of Lisbon. National Patheon. Monastery of São Vicente de Fora. Fair of Ladra ('Marché aux pusses'). Water museum. Alfama and Mouraria, medieval zones. Castle of São Jorge. Restaurant 'Pitéu' in Graça's square. Bakery ' Forno de Sapadores'. Taborda theatre, with restaurant, bar and beautiful sight to the city. Theatre of Graça. Chapitô, bar and restoring with a kind of circus' shows and other splendid sight to the city and the river. The famous disco LUX, beside Santa Apolónia. "We had an amazing time in Lisbon, helped by the warm reception we had from the owner Filipe. He gave us many tips on where to go on our travels to Porto, Best roads etc. Accommodation was basic but served our purpose. If you like tea bring your own teapot or bags!! Centrally positioned with lots of cafe's and a short walk to Tram 28 and bus are very close. Recommend to anyone wanting good local accommodation away from the city noise."

"Dit goed bereikbare appartement, bus 12 en 35,tram 28, was voor ons een ideale uitvalsbasis voor ons bezoek aan Lissabon. De verhuurder had voor ons zelfs kaartjes geregeld voor een wedstrijd van Sporting. Vanaf het vliegveld was de taxirit 14 euro. In het appartement was voor ons( 5 personen) genoeg voor handen om zelf eten te koken. De afwasmachine deed de rest."

"La propriétaire est sympa ++++ le logement est à la hauteur du prix :petit prix = petite prestation .... humidité +++ mode de chauffage d''un autre siècle , literie plus que moyenne , couvertures et couettes ne sont pas lavées entre chaque locataire. Odeur de renfermé , peu de lumière , minuscule salle de bain et pour finir le compteur électrique qui lâche constamment mais un quartier hyper sympa , il faut savoir ce que l''on recherche !!!!"

The owner's response:

I offered the accommodation of your child, I informed you that should not connect many appliances due to power household power. I assure you that all bedding, towels and kitchen clothes are cleaned between all stays. If you noticed any smell, it was because the house has not been inhabited since 11/11/2012 untili your arrival, this type of odor is normal to happen in the winter, especially when the house is closed for a while, but if you open the windows, while at home, these odors disappear. About the heating, as you probably know, Portugal is a country with a mild climate and we usually do not need heating systems in our homes. Nevertheless, as I rent an apartment, I decided to put a heating system safe and ecological because it consumes no oxygen in the house when it is on. It is not a rapid heating system because it is composed of thermal plates that after heated, maintained the temperature throughout the home. I also assure you that it is not a system of the last century, but is considered the safest and most environmentally friendly in fact was recently purchased (about 3 years) in Germany. The bathroom, in fact, is not big, but it has everything that is needed and also never, in 8 years that I rent my apartment to tourists, had any bad remark in this regard. Right now I have the apartment rented since 06/01 / and although we are in winter and lots of rain, customers still do not have any complaints. Finally, I want to remind you that your arrival at my apartment, was + or - 2 hours after the time you indicated, so I had to make extra payment to Mr. C. and I never complained for this event, nor asked you additional fee for that. I think I that was very correct to you, as I am always, and your appreciation will bring me much harm and difficulties in renting my apartment, so I urge your best thinking on the subject and kindly to change your appreciation in homelidays. I also ask you my sincere apologies for my apartment did not have corresponded to your expectations. I hope you understand my reasons, I am sure you will take cordial attention and be fair to my request, so I wait your answer.
