" A lovely well kept “villettta” (sort of villa) at the Como Lake, on teh side of Lecco. The accommodation (on 2 levels + meeting area, 135m2) is equipped with a swimming pool, which is sometimes used by the owner (his house is close by), a cosy veranda and communal enclosed garden with electric lockable fence. Beautifully situated in the beautiful town Lierna, this house is further perfect for an amusing holiday along the Como Lake (the beach "La Riva Bianca" is located within 100 m, shops and restaurants within 500m). In the surrounding you can visit e.g.: Varenna and the coast of the lake (via the road s.p.72). The "Chiesa dei Santi Maurizio e Lazzaro" (castle, in Lierna), the "Isola Comacina" (with the "Sagra di S. Giovanni”, a traditional town festival), and many other places of interest. NB: The house is close to a railroad. On request a place for your boat can be arranged, at the local harbour. The location is ideal even for the winter sport (the fashionable and exclusive St.Moritz is situated within 1hr drive) and visit Milan by train this way you can shop wonderfully in Milan without traffic and parking place: in the town there is a small and easy train station (info, prices and times on: www.trenitalia.com) Via the public boat transport, you can quickly go to Bellagio and reach the other side of the lake (info, prices and times of the boat line on: www.navigazionelaghi.it) A small distance from the house is the restaurant "Il Crotto" where local specialties are still being prepared according to the old recipes (Handmade pasta, deserts etc.): recommended! Famous actors like George Clooney for example often stays along the Como Lake, he bought 2 villas there; therefore take the chance to come across such famous celebrities in restaurants or other locations. The house with swimming pool, "Villa Valentina" is in a green area of rubinie, typical trees of Lake Como. From the yard and from the rooms you can enjoy a lovely view of the lake. The solarium and the swimming pool (5 m. X 10 m.) are shared with another independent home, which is where the owner lives. This house is completely fenced in on an area of 600 sq.m. The house has 2 kitchens and 2 to 3 families can live in it for a maximum of 8/10 people sleeping in it. It is in the centre of town, a few yards away from the!! Railway!! and 100 meters from the lovely white beach of Lierna. Restaurants, bar, newsagent, pizzeria and shops at 150 meters distance. Yard has table, chairs and chaise lounges. Double car garage plus another parking spot for one car. 2-floor independant home plus semi-ground floor. Ground floor has a living room together with dining room and one double-divan couch, Tv-Sat. Kitchen with oven, 4 burners, vent and dishwasher. Half bathroom with sink and WC. 1st floor – double bedroom with wardrobe and bureau, bedroom with bunk-beds plus third bed that can be pulled out.
