Far from mass tourism hot spots such as Punta Cana or Cancun, Las Terrenas is a village nestled between Los Haitises mountain range and the Atlantic Ocean... It is a small fishing village with an international flare. Along with the Dominicans, thousands of French, Italian, Canadian and American residents call Las Terrenas home. It creates a friendly atmosphere where friendly locals, expatriates and tourists mingle in everyday life. This melting pot of local and foreign influences is maybe best exemplified by the quality and creativity of Las Terrenas restaurants, fusing French haute cuisine, traditional local recipes and fresh sea food. Make sure you enjoy some of the very good restaurants in the Fisherman’s village about 1 mile away, on the sea front, some with French chefs. Presque trois semaines de rêve !!! voilà comment qualifier notre séjour à Las Terrenas de cet été et cela malgrès 4 jours d'orages et de pluies... Le logement que nos avons loué était à la hauteur de nos attentes. Arrivés la nuit après 24h de voyage nous avons apprécié dormir dans des chambres meublées avec goût, climatisées avec des salles de bain dignes des plus grads hôtels 5* sans oublier de mentionner l'acceuil de Jacques (Agence immo AIC) , très sympathique et très présents durant tout le séjour. Au matin nous avons découvert la situation de notre Penthouse au milieu d'une verdure et d'un pysage epoustouflant à 2 pas d'une plage de rêve et donc les vacances commencèrent pour nous au milieu de ce site paradisiaque et au sein d'une communauté pleine de gentillesse....les enfants ont adorés ....Nous reviendrons sûrement Karima, Djamel, Tamani et Nacim
