Hints and Tips Our village offers a "Point Plage": center for renting material for fun on the water- sailboards, catamarans, sailing dinghies, kayaks etc. One of our local beaches is a known surfing spot and every turn in the coastline offers a beach for relaxing and playing. Pedestrian ferries offer regular island service out of the picturesque fishing village of Le Conquet (12km). Horse riding in the dunes and along the waterfront is available in neighboring Porspoder and Plouarzel while an 18-hole golf course with panoramic views is within five minutes of the house (Golf des Abers). The summer months are full of organized activities and nearly every weekend has a village festival planned, such as the Crab Fest, traditional Brittanic dancing and music (fest noz) and parades. Interested in local culture and history? Many chapels, abbeys, castles, churches, sculptures and pre-historic ruins are within one-hour's drive of the house. There's truly something for everyone!
