" SPORTS-right from the house many walks are to be enjoyed as well as hiking,cycling,fun swimming in the river Lignon,hang-gliding at Col du Méyran(15 km),canoeing and rafting in Ardèche valley (Balazuc) or Vallon Pont d'Arc. In winter -skiing or nordic walking at Col de la Croix de Bauzon (12 km) LOVERS OF NATURE- a rich combination of mountain wildlife flora and fauna makes this place attractive. Characteristic for this particular area are various birds of prey, the kestrel and the brightly coloured bee-eaters. In the fall it is a great pleasure of picking up chestnuts and mushrooms. A bar/restaurant is in La Souche (+ small supermarket Vival). Have a coffee or a cool drink in the shade of big trees on the beautiful square in 'village de charme' Jaujac. (Tuesday and Fridaymornings market) "

From Aubenas take the N102 dir.Le Puy/Mende upto the roundabout at Lalevade.Turn to the left, D19 dir.Jaujac/Col de la Croix de Bauzon. In Jaujac keep following the D19 and at the exit of La Souche, go sharply to the right, over the bridge, dir. Col de la Croix de Bauzon. After 2,5 kms on the right, a green letter-box with a yellow letter T (for Terwey) on it. A sharp curve takes you up to the house on a narrow private road.
