" La Punt maintained the atmosphere of a traditional mountain lifestyle and is just 10km far from the exclusive town of St. Moritz and from the charming villages of Celerina e Pontresina. La Punt’s location makes it possible to reach all spots and skiing lifts by car over good roads, or by public transportation (bus or Rhaetian railroad). Engadine offers many fascinating wonders: splendid scenery, lakes, glaciers, Swiss stone pine and larch woods so as a big variety of panoramic trails. Besides its charming landscapes, it also offers culture and winter and summer sports such as downhill skiing (350 km of slopes for all abilities, including night skiing on slopes lit by Corvatsch) cross-country skiing, skating, hockey and curling, trekking, high altitude climbing on rock and ice, mountain biking, tennis, golf, polo, wind- and kite surfing. Engadine is also the capital of horseback riding in the Alps. Means of access :

Engadine is mainly connected with Italy by the Maloja and Bernina passes, as well as Foscagno and Ofen passes. With the rest of Switzerland it is connected by the Julier, Abula and Fluela passes. The Engadine is covered by the Rhaetian railroad and bus service connecting all the towns of the valley. From Italy By car Take the Milano-Lecco-Colico freeway, then the Colico-Chiavenna highway. From Chiavenna head towards Maloja Pass and then towards St. Moritz-Samedan-Zernez. Once past the exits for the towns of Samaden and Dover you arrive in La Punt Chamues-ch. Cross the bridge on the right and go straight until you reach a church at the end of the town. “Chesa Tussilago” is in front of that church. By train It is possible to reach La Punt via Tirano, where you can take the scenic Rhaetian railroad train which crosses Bernina Pass to reach La Punt. From the rail station of La Punt cross the bridge and go straight on the street until the church at the end of the town. “Chesa Tussilago” is in front of the church. By train + bus With the Milan-Lecco-Colico-Chiavenna line, once you reach Chiavenna, there are connecting buses that leave the square in front of the station for Engadine. From the North The freeways of the North are connected with Engadine via the Julierpass or through a convenient train tunnel with the "Car Train" service which goes from Chur to St.Moritz or from Vereina to Scoul. Engadine is on the border with Austria and is 180 km far from Innsbruck.
