" The Ballestar, small mountain village of exquisite preservation, in the heart of Natural Park of Benifassā Tinenįa and near the Natural Park of the 'Els Ports'. The mountains of Els Ports Benifassā and forming a spectacular mountain range that reaches 1300 m above sea level and is only 30 km from the sea. They are known as the Southern Pyrenees. The landscape is rugged and wild with a Mediterranean forest in perfect condition. National Reserve is also Spanish Goat (from the house you can see samples of goat grazing on the outskirts of town). The Ballet is located in a valley facing the sea, 700 m altitude, with a temperate climate. From the village you can make plenty of excursions and tours of all kinds, from 1 hour to all day, including trips of several days. It is also ideal for biking. And climbing. Or drive to visit several towns and scenic spots. Find several waterfalls, Ulldecona Marsh (reservoir where you can swim or sail a boat with oars in the house, also rented kayaks and scooters), numerous isolated farmhouses or houses, climbing to peaks, the Senio River to bathe fresh water, forests as Europe's southernmost beech or visit the Monastery of Santa María de Benifassā 1300. You can visit tourist villages, such as the walled town of Morella, Tortosa and Peniscola with its old town on the sea. Also the Natural Park of Delta del Ebro, with its seafood and rice. "

We must move to the Population of Benifassā (2 km) to buy a small shop and have health care (24 h) and swimming in summer, or the Senia (15 km) to find supermarkets, ATMs and all kinds of services . The food at the restaurants in the area is highly recommended because it is home cooking mountain.
