Ottoman residence in Kuzguncuk-Bosphorus

"The property was well furnished and clean and in a quiet location.It was also convenient for getting into Istanbul central ,although there was short bus ride to the ferry terminal.The flat had a good view down to the bosphorus.There is a rather steep climb up several flights of stairs to the flat which might be difficult for someone with restricted mobility.But we enjoyed the stay at the flat and would recommend it highly."

The owner - and other members of his family who live nearby - are extremely welcoming and informative. And Ismet Baba's great fish restaurant is a minute's walk away. Highly recommended for the visitor who wants to see more of this great city than the usual tourist check-list."

"We had really nice holiday in Istanbul thanks to this apartment, which is clean and spacious! It is located in a sympathetic and calm quertier called Kuzguncuk, where there are many cafeterias and other basic services. The only thing that bothered us little bit were the connecions to get to the European side or to Sultanhmet. During the day time it´s ok (taxi/bus + ferry), but late in the evening the only option is taxi. It´s also true, that staying in the Asian side you have to travel more and so you also get to know Istanbul better!"

"Die Wohnung ist wirklich so schön wie auf den Bildern im Netz. In 2 Min. sind wir an der Anlegestelle der Fähre gewesen und in weiteren 20 Min. haben wir im Zentrum angelegt. Einfach toll die Fahrten über den Bosporos! Einzig das Wetter lies zu wünschen übrig. Es war kalt und regnerisch. Istanbul eine tolle Stadt - und die Wohnung ein toller Ort um diese Stadt zu erkunden".
