The beach is a short walk away through the olive trees. It is the ideal peaceful holiday destination. The villa is luxurious and furnished tastefully. The villa has been designed with privacy in mind. The feel here is Greek but Chic. There is a sense of traditional but with all mod cons to make your holiday perfect. The accommodation consists of a siting room with a large and comfortable sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a double bedroom, shower room and large outside veranda to eat or relax. See the personal website of the owner" For those who enjoy total relaxation, the pool is on your doorstep and the beach is 10 minutes walk away. There are also many other beautiful beaches to explore in the local area. The world famous Zaga Beach (home of the loga turtle) is only 4kms away in the picturesque village of Koroni. Further afield (8km away) are the very quiet and unspoilt beaches of Kalamaki, Tsapi and Marathi. Even on summer days a trip to Tsapi or Marathi can mean you have the beach to yourself! For those who love activity, there is windsurfing at Finikounda beach, boat hire at Pylos or walking to be done in the surrounding area. The walk through the Viros Gorge or the Neda Valley are fascinating. There is horseriding nearby. Of course,there are many magnificent historic sites to see. Ancient Messini is a wonder of the ancient world. Olympia is a day trip away. Byzantine Mystras overlooking the Spartan plain is a wonderful example of medieval life. Even closer to home are the castles at Koroni and Methoni (once both Venetian Fortresses) and the equisite "Timiou Prothromou" Convent which sits on top of Koroni beside the castle is a "must see". The villages of both Kombi and Harakopio are within 1 km and both have cafes, restaurants and shops. Koroni,(4km) has a great selection of bars, tavernas and shops. There are banks and a small supermarket together with interesting little craft and gift shops selling locally produced crafts in wood, pottery and jewellery. "
