" It is well known that Kiev is situated on 7 hills (mainly all of its historical and central areas). So we highly recommend you to have pair of comfortable shoes for your visit. Ukrainians use to buy fruits, vegetables and meat at the market. So don't miss the opportunity to try delicious agriculture food during harvest season at Bessarabskiy Market (the best one of the city but pricey as well) just 300 meters away from the house Kreschatik is full of shops, bars and restaurants. Try traditional ukrainian food served at buffet-style cafe (really cheap but of a good quality food) just 70 meters away from the house. Taxi service is not regulated by goverment, so self-employed people have a chance to earn some money by giving you a car ride to your destination. So don't be suprised or afraid of cars (not taxi cabs) being stopped on the street when you raise up your hand. Bargain is a must :) "
