" This beautifully appointed house in the hillside setting of Cappanacush one mile from the main road has the Ideal idlyllic Irish country side setting and with elevated views of Kenmare bay. Ideal location base for sightseeing Southwest area and also the stunning Beara Penninsula. Killarney is 30 minutes drive via the scenic Molls Gap road. The house is large with spacious gardens and perfectly suited to families or a group of eight travelling together. The kitchen, dining room and living room are one large open plan area and each section beautifully appointed and furnished to a very high standard. The living room has large windows that look on to the big open garden, the narrow quaint country road that leads up to the house, the Ring of Kerry Golf Club and Kenmare Bay which lies on the other side. There are 4 bedrooms, 3 are double (2 queensize, 1 king bed). The fourth bedroom has twin beds. Three of the four bedrooms are ensuite, two with bath tub and shower. The house is very relaxing and allows the beautiful morning and evening sun in making it bright and very peaceful. It is a perfect space to be in after a busy day sightseeing and an easy kitchen and dining area to cook dinner and enjoy the local great foods and wines. It is also ideal for a private family/occasion dinner during your stay and we can arrange private catering for this purpose if you require it. Kenmare is a tranquil country town, famous for its gourmet food and superb accommodation set amidst breath-taking scenery in one of the most unspoilt, natural environments in Europe. "

" Kenmare town is host to a number of award winning restaurants and artisan food producers. A visit to the the 'wednesday market'is a must where local artisan food producers sell their organic products. Breads, Cheeses, local honey, fish and veg just some of the market foods perfect for a self-catering stay. Kenmare is an ideal location for walkers with the 'kerry way' routes on our doorstep. Killarney National Park, Ring of Beara and West Cork are all withing easy driving distance from Kenmare and these beautiful unspoilt scenic areas are a must to visit. Allihies beach on the 'ring of beara' is a beautiful white sandy beach an hours drive from the house and in the other direction the beach at 'Caherdaniel' over in Derrynane on the ring of Kerry is one of our most beautiful. Again, an hour's drive. Golf is available on the doorstep at the championship 'Ring of Kerry'golf course, Waterville, Tralee, Killarney and the world famous Ballybunion Old. All kinds of Watersports are available for kids and adults through 'Star Sailing'adventure centre in Kenmare. All up to date info for these activities will be in the house for your perusal. "
