New York, New York

"Hi everybody, the flat was perfect, furnished, big enough for two or even three peoples. There is a supermarket at 5 min by walk, pretty cheap. i did not like the neighborhood, it''s not very beautiful, but very closed to the train station (5min). Also Javier is very kind, and helpful, he picked me up in Manhattan and showed me a lots of things about train, and how/what to do in nyc. Last thing, it is very quick to go to Manhattan from his flat, 5 min to the train station + 10 min of ride to Manhattan = fast safe(don''t get a taxi, it''s expensive and they are the worst drivers ever) and cheap. "Nice apartment but a little noisy because of the train horning few blocks away. Easy access to Manhattan using PATH (10 to 30 min ride). Javier is very kind and helpful. Very cheap for the NYC area. Good deal. Joli appartement dans un quartier calme mais proche des rails d'ou on entend les trains klaxonner. Facilite d'acces a Manhattan par le PATH (environ 10 a 30 minutes de trajet). Javier est tres gentil et tres accomodant. Bon plan pas cher pour loger proche de Manhattan."

"Javier, a perfect gentleman, welcomed us at the Path Station and accompanied us to his apartment in Jersey City, a short train ride away. He settled us in and made sure that we were happy and then left us in his tastefully decorated and very comfrotable home. It was all lovely, well presented and very convenient, only a five minute walk from the path line which took us into 33rd Street or the World trade Centre. New York was at out fingertips and we loved every minute of it. We saw three braodway shows and travelled on public transport at all hours of the day and night always feeling safe. We spent a day at Central Park and lots of time walking and exploring. It was fantastic. The area that the apartment is in is itself interesting and colourful. A short walk away is the big Jesuit College and the Lincoln Gardens. We spent an interesting half day at the African American Museum on JF Kennedy Avenue. Around the corner from the apartment is a big supermarket which sells fresh fish of the highest quality and everything else you may need. The Chinese shop around the corner belies its external appearance and does excellent take out food. There are all sorts of ethnic eateries that all do authentic food. VIP down the road dishes up a hearty meal. The people in the area were friendly and helpful and it was a privledge to interact with them Thumbs up to Javier and his apartment."

"This is a fantastic rental apartment if you are working to a budget or are fortunate enough to have a long time to experience New York. The apartment itself is large and trendy with EVERYTHING you could possibly need - a real home from home. The owner was really friendly and met us personally to show us where the apartment was which we were very grateful for - especially as we arrived in Manhattan at rush hour! He provided maps and coupons which were a great help. I guess it was just different to what we are used to! We found the whole experience amazing and the apartment great value for money."

"Very friendly, likeable owner. He collected for us a variety of brochures, information, coupons for sights in and around NYC. A huge supermarket and other stores are just around the corner. The subway (PATH) station “Journal Square” to go into Downtown Jersey City, Hoboken or New York is about 5 minutes walking distance from the apartment."
