Holidaymaker reviews: holiday rental in Apartment/ flat Heitersheim

"Lovely quiet, cosy loft apartment with small balcony, light and airy and well equipped. The kitchen is a little compact and does not have an oven but,is O.K for preparing light meals and snacks. Anyway, who wants to cook when you have a selection of eating places close by the nearest one being 200 meters around the corner. There are a number of winerys which serve food, called straussis ( itentified by decorated witches broomsticks),and there is a useful information folder avaiable with all amenities listed. We found Heitersheim a useful base location to visit surrounding areas including the Alsace region, Freiburg,and deep into the Black Forest, visiting Triberg, and Titisee, and Muenstertahl. There a lot of wonderful cycling paths everywhere, even alongside the roads passing lovely countryside along the way. there are lots of walks, and hikes available everywhere and in the Black Forest. A lovely area and a lovely stay, hope to have a return visit soon."

"The accommodation turned out to be much more beautiful than the images. Roomy, cozy, tranquil apartments in the peaceful town Heitersheim not far from Switzerland and France. Hospitable owners made our stay contented. Great choice for spending comfortable vacation."

First class facilities in a beautiful part of Germany, convienient for France and Switzerland. Very friendly and helpful hosts despite our lack of German. Will definetly return

"Excellent accommodation! Better than the description! Located in a lovely village with easy access to shopping, public transportation, etc. A peaceful and quiet location. We had a wonderful stay. The host was very gracious and hospitable and provided for our every need."
