ALBA is visited all year long by thousands of gourmet-tourists from all over the world. The Mansion, dating back from 1744, is in the historical centre of the village and belongs to the same family from 5 generations and is perfectly preserved and refurbished to offer an elegant and quiet staying in its apartments. The park with century old trees, flowers all year long, seasonal friuts, is open to guests to offer quiet relax in the nature with solarium, kids-payground. The all property is fenced and inside its wide courtyard free parking for guests is secured. The confortable apartment has a panoramic view over the green hills of Roero and the Alps. Free wine-tasting with each week-staying. Restaurant reservations, tours, visits to wine and cheese farmers are provided under request. Painting, guitar, cooking lessons are available in the Mansion. The owner is a qualified artist-painter with Atelier inside, open for visits. The village of Guarene is inside the wine hills of Langhe and Roero, near the Mediterranean sea (1,5 hours motorway), the Alps skying resorts (2 hours), the historical towns of Turin (45 minutes), Asti (20 minutes), Cuneo (50 minutes), Genova (1,5 hours) "

Her the reputed grat Alba's wines are born: Barolo, Barbaresco, Nebbiolo Roero, Barbera, Dolcetto, Arneis, Favorita, Moscato which are met by the famous typical local gourmet-cuisine. MAIN EVENTS: --> VINUM festival 2011: April 23 24 25 30 + May 1st, with presentation of the 2010 local wines all along the historical streets of Alba with cellars open for visits and wine tasting. --> CHEESE 2011 ( organized by SLOOW FOOD )- Midd of September week-end: the international exhibit-market of the very best of world cheese along the historical streets of the town of BRA(16 km from the flat). --> FIERA INTERNAZIONALE DEL TARTUFO BIANCO DI ALBA 2011: international truffle festival, all the month of October. Wines, truffles, mushrooms, games, cuisine, music, arts, culture, ... worth a visit to ALBA!! 2 km from the apartment cuisine-magazine reported outstanding restaurants. In the area, wild-nature trekking, free-bike use, tours, visits to castles, walks hrough viniards. Aroud the apartment ( within 1 hour car ride ), the historical towns of Turin, Cuneo, Asti, Alba, Fossano, Saluzzo, Canale.
