" The flat is in a great location: Penthouse - 50mt from the seaside,2nd floor (without elevator) apt; amazing terrace with fantastic fisherman port view, overlooking the old town to Mediterranean see, spacy livingroom (cable and satellite, TV,DVD and stereo)dinning hall,2 bedrooms (both double beds , with additional sofabed available), fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms (bath&shower), 2 balconies. Althougth is in a plenty silent private court of this ancient XVI Century palace,the apt is located in the actual heart of tourist route because of its restaurants and bars as well as his historical sites. The Ducal Palace of Giovinazzo was build in the mid –XVII cent. at the wish of Nicolò Giudice, Duke of Giovinazzo and Prince of Cellammare to design os Francesco Anonio Pichiatti of Naples, an architect to the Court of many talents. The building later becomes owned by Siciliani marquises of Rende, who lived there for quite some time. The building rises around a large inner courtyard over an area of approximately 500sq meters, and has long, imposing façade made of squared blocks of stone. The northern façade was build on top of the ancient town walls, as may be seen from the welling in the lower section, and looks straight out to the sea. What is visible today is entirely different on account of road built for the pier which interfered with the building‘s earlier connection to the coasts. " Giovinazzo is a small , marvellous village. Puglia stretches from the stiletto of Italy's heel to the spur further up the back of the boot. It has a Mediterranean climate with clear blue skies and sunshine for most of the year. It is very 'Italian'! You can find colourful and interesting markets in the towns selling fantastic fruit. vegetables. cheese, meat, fish. Eating out is a real pleasure, again lots of choice and very reasonably priced. There is plenty to do in the area with many interesting whitewashed hilltop towns, villages with historic centres, Baroque and Romanesque churches and castles. Alberobello lies in the picturesque Itria valley (current Michelin guide recommends a three star drive through the area visiting the towns of Locorotondo and Martina Franca) Selva di Fasano is also well worth a visit. The grotto of Castellana is stunning as well as Castel del Monte, Trani and Bari. "We had a wonderful week, the apartment was immaculate and very well equipped. The view from the roof terrace was fantastic; I could actually have spent all day every day there but that would have meant missing out on the fabulous restaurants which were within a short walk of the apartment! This was our first visit to this area of Italy and we will definitely be back. Anna was so helpful and gave excellent advice and top tips for eating out. We would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful apartment which is in a really beautiful town. Alex & Kirsteen"

The apartment was very nice! It was big, clean, modern, fully equipped kitchen and with a wonderful terrace! We had a great time in Giovinazzo and surroundings. Anna realy was a wonderful host and we hope to visit Giovinazzo again in the future!

"Toll gelegen, im Herzen von Giovinazzo, grosszügige Wohnung, viel Platz und gute Ausstattung. Grossartige Terasse, spektakuläre Sonnenauf- und untergänge!! Ist jede einzelne Treppenstufe wert. Anna ist eine freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin die gerne mit Rat und Tat zur Seite steht. Absolut Empfehlenswert!"

"Die saubere und pittoreske Altstadt von Giovinazzo ist eine der hübschesten Städte in Apulien und ein hervorragender Ausgangsort für kulturelle Besichtigungen. Von jeder Tour sind wir gerne zurück nachhause in die schöne, sehr große und angenehme Wohnung von Anna Vacca zurückgekommen. Ein solch phantastischer direkter Meerblick von der Dachterrasse zu 2 Seiten - Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenuntergang - läßt sich kaum wiederfinden. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und modern möbliert, sehr sauber, 2 schöne neue Bäder, 2 Schlafzimmer, ruhig und doch mittendrin. Die Vermieterin Anna Vacca ist äußerst herzlich, hilfreich und nett und jederzeit erreichbar. Wir können die Wohnung auf das wärmste empfehlen. Ein Hinweis: 3. Stock ohne Aufzug über breites Treppenhaus, in der Wohnung 1 Treppe zum 2. Schlafzimmer und eine weitere Treppe zur Dachterrasse. Parkplatz direkt im Hof vorhanden."

"La nostra visita a Giovinazzo è stata bellissima. Abbiamo avuto giornate calde (Marzo!), meravilgiose. Il paese è un vero gioiello incontaminato. La casa è semplicemente perfetta. Putroppo dalle foto non si evince quanto i soffitti (alti 5mt)soppacati di legni preziosi, arredata con gusto e completa di ogni singolo comfort, facciano la vera differenza rispetto agli appartamenti spogli e tristi da affitto turistico "di routine". I costi sono più alti rispetto alla media, ma e''come sentirsi a casa, ma a 5 stelle. Il panorama dell''enorme terrazza privata, è difficile da descrivere, bisogna proprio vederlo."
