House / Villa - Funchal

"Roberto''s apartment is in the historic building of old town - Zona Velha. It is the main feature and advantage of the apartment. Probably, this is the best location in the heart of Funchal. It is 1 min walk from the beach, close to shops, Mercado de Lavradores (fruit and fish market), cable car, bus stops, surrounded by restaurants. This vivid surrounding and cars passing by the street produce noise that maybe annoying in late evening. Apartment is clean and good handled and has everything for self catering. Little issue with toilet amenities occured during our stay I believe already fixed. Despite of this I can definitely recommend the apartment to any one and I will certainly stay again at Roberto''s place. Of course if he let and accident will:) Roberto was nice, freindly and helpful. "

"The house is very well located near the center and public transport. The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful with good restaurants and pleasant bars. We had good opportunity to visit museums that are very close to the house Regarding cleanliness, the house was clean and well maintained. We liked the decor very traditional Madeiran. The price / quality ratio is excellent! Roberto is very friendly and helpful"

"Roberto has been very nice and helpfull. The house was exactly as described on the website. It''s a very beautiful house in the historical center. The location is the best, I think, to stay in Funchal. There are a lot of bars, restaurants,without being too noisy. It is very beautiful old city center. A beach of rocks is just 2 minutes by feet close to the house, even it is small, but enough in june where there was not too much people. The Sao Tiago fortress is very nice. It is close to many bus stop to go in the city or outside anywhere in Madeira. It was really delicious and PERFECT! Almost...We just missed a sofa to take a rest after a day of walking, and there was something like a machine in the neighbour house making a lot of noise in one of the room until 11 pm. I really would to recommend the island of Madeira, the town of Funchal, and the house of Roberto to have VERY GOOD HOLIDAYS, and if we come back there, for sure we''ll go back to Roberto!"

Le logement est propre et il y a tout ce qu''il faut. Accueil ultra sympathique de Roberto le propriétaire ! Je vous recommande vivement ce logement"
