Apartment/ flat - Funchal

This nice apartment is situated in the middle of Funchal.The flat is equipped very well, we had cooker with oven and a washing machine, as a long time vacationer (we were there 5 weeks)we found it very fortunately. A small balcony with look at the mountains belongs to the flat. Unfortunately, the street is strongly used during the day, and it is on the balcony loudly. In the flat the noise does not interfere it at all. We had a TV with Portuguese English French and German (RTL) Channels However, a better channel choice should be soon possible.Also its possible to have internet in the apartment. The renter's family was extremely helpful and friendly. We have been picked up at airport and have been brought to the airport, the return flight was almost in the night! In Funchal You have a lot of good restaurants.Our favorite was an Indian Restaurant called "Indian house" Also You have a big Supermarket \"Pingo Doce\". There You have a good sortiment. From Funchal there are very good bus connections to all places on the island, You dont need to rent a car for the whole time.. We recommend this apartment warmly if You like to stay in a city with a very good infrastruktur and a lovely old town during Your holidays!
