" Our home is in the north London borough of Barnet. It is on a new private housing estate in a quiet residential area composed of typically English houses, in the grounds of an old historical buildi which has now been converted into luxury apartments. It is 1 minute walk from New Southgate’ rail station, from which, in 20 minutes you are in the heart of London and 5 minutes walk from Arnos grove underground station, which is on the Picadilly line and from here the tube train takes 20 minutes to reach Picadilly. You can also take direct trains to heathrow airport from here. Local buses also stop at the top of the road, (100meters) so it is ideal for visiting the sights, business and shopping trips and then a relaxing show or dinner before returning to peace and quiet, away from the traffic of London. There are shops, restaurants and all necessities within 5 minutes walk. From the back of the house, over the small garden, you can see the famous ‘Alexander Palace’. The house is composed of a fully equipped kitchen and living/dining area on the ground floor, this leads out through French windows to the small landscaped garden. Where there are dining chairs and table for al fresco dining in the summer months. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms, one with king size bed and the other with queen size bed, there are fitted cupboards in both bedrooms. The bathroom has a bathtub with hand shower, toilet and sink. There is carpeting throughout except in the kitchen and bathroom. It is a lovely little ‘castle’, cosy and warm in the winter, sunny and restful in the summer "

Feel at home, living like the locals while you shop in the local shops, Costcutter's is just around the corner and the Tesco flagstore is 5 minutes away by car. During your stay, don't miss the famous London sights,for example Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, The London Eye, for great views of the city and not only... shoping in Oxford Street, regent Street and of course Harrods in Knightsbridge (especially at Christmas time to see the wonderful Christmas lights). For the kids,, there are plenty of theme parks too. "

We came to the house by car very easily. The house is fully equiped, very clean and nicely decorated. Everything's perfect: all you need and even more (more towels, more bed linen...). The house is located in a very quiet and nice place. It's really easy to reach London quite quickly from here (the train station is 5 mns walk from the house). The neighbours are really lovely, kind and helpful. Our e-mail exchanges with the owner were really nice and helpful too. We really enjoyed our 4 nights holidays, with a sunny and not so cold weather almost all the time. Every days we walked a lot in London and we were all really happy to come back to this comfortable nest to relax. Our daughter and her school friend enjoyed their bedroom and the Internet WiFi so that they stayed connected with their friends in France. We highly recommand this house and would definitely come back as soon as possible!

"A very nice and clean house. It is located in a nice part of London and it was easy to get there with the subway.The kitchen is well equiped, which was nice, as we had to cook for our kids. A. and D., the neighbours, were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay in his house."
