"Very high standard of accomodation for the money paid. Outstanding view of Etna from the villa. Full Kitchen with all the basics like plates, glasses and cutlery. No noise as you're in an isolated villa. Only noise worth mentioning is the wind vane on top of the villa which creaks at night. Overall a top quality villa for very little money; Highly Recommended!"

"We had a wonderful week at this lovely villa on the outskirts of Francavilla di Sicilia. The location of the villa was superb - the terrace had a perfect view of Mount Etna and was a fantastic place to spend the evenings, admiring the view as the sun went down (then watching the eruptions of Etna at night - truly fabulous). Not only does the villa have great views but it is also in a very tranquil location - perfect for getting away from it all. The villa itself was very comfortable and had all the amenities that we needed. And the owners, Felice and Erminia, were wonderful - we had a terrible first day with flight/car hire delays and did not reach Francavilla until midnight, but they greeted us warmly and assured us that it was not a problem. I highly recommend this villa to anyone wanting to stay somewhere close to the sights on the east side of the island but somewhere calm and peaceful - with the view of Etna thrown in, this place is magical!"

The views were stunning and the environment couldn't have been more serene but the month of March can be extremely cold in Sicily. Heating was by a log fire it was difficult to keep going with the damp wood and we couldn't heat the main room. The electric trip switch would leave us in darkness if the electric fire was on with an electric plate, I have known this before in Italy. If the shower was running for more than three minutes the floor flooded and the toilet almost overflowed. If they could improve the electrics and the sewer problem in summer it would be a wonderful holiday.

L'affittuario ha soggiornato presso la nostra residenza di campagna “Villa Uliveto” Francavilla di Sicilia dal 02/03/2006 al 09/03/2006, un periodo in cui in tutta Europa si è abbattuta un’ondata di freddo imprevista e, avvenimento raro nelle nostre zone, in quei giorni ha nevicato parecchio. Il Caminetto a legna, più che sufficiente per le temperature medie delle nostre zone, si è evidentemente rilevato insufficiente per quei giorni di freddo, non riscaldando a sufficienza i locali, in previsione di ciò avevamo anche fornito una stufa elettrica. Siamo venuti a conoscenza dell’otturazione dello scarico della doccia allorché i clienti successivi hanno lamentato questo inconveniente e siamo intervenuti prontamente per riparare il danno. Non capiamo il problema riguardo alla cucina elettrica, perfettamente funzionante, nel pieno rispetto delle norme di sicurezza. Agli affittuari, al momento del loro arrivo, sono stati dati ben 3 numeri telefonici (sia rete fissa che cellulari) per poterci contattare tranquillamente e liberamente in caso di qualsiasi necessità, ribadendo loro più volte la nostra disponibilità. Affittiamo Case per le vacanze già da tempo, sappiamo benissimo quanto sia importante lasciare soddisfatti i nostri ospiti, il loro soggiorno piacevole è la migliore delle pubblicità, è sufficiente una telefonata da parte dei nostri ospiti e facciamo di tutto per rendere ottimale il loro soggiorno in Sicilia. Chiunque venga in Sicilia spera sempre di trovare sole e cielo azzurro, non è colpa nostra se il tempo è stato inclemente.

Haus: geschmackvoll und einladend gestaltet. Super sauber. Gut Platz fuer eine Familie. Terasse: o.k. Stimmungsvoller Blick auf Etna. Toller Standort fuer Urlaub im oestlichen Sizilien. Location: Absolute nature, quiet, alone. Access: 200 m. steep dirtroad, safe parking. House: tasteful and warmly decorated. Very clean. Spacious for a family. Terrace: o.k. Lovely view of Etna. Olive grove to explore. Great location for a vacation in Eastern Sicily."
