" very well-equipped and cosy apartment in a gated community. Quiet , peaceful ,set on the eastern flank of Mount Etna, it enjoys spectacular views of the volcano. It is surrounded by the countryside with citrus groves , at 400 mt from the sea.The position is ideal for people who want to visit Sicily, enjoy the closeness of the sea ,and love mountains as well. The apartment is on the first floor, it has a double bedroom; a living with a sofa bed, a dining table and a perfectly equipped kitchen; a bathroom with shower. It sleeps four but we can add one more bed or a cot on request. There are two balconies opening in the living room and in the bedroom, and a terrace of 25 mq where you can have relaxing dinners enjoying the peace and tranquillity of the place and the view of Etna.There's a lot of space for kids to run around safely and a shared pool open from mid June to mid September - Facilities: shower, electric oven, dish washer, fridge, washing machine, iron, toaster, tv set, weekly linen change included, bikes on request , stereo,reserved car park , outdoor furniture , sunshade parasol, barbecue. The location is ideal in any period of the year for exploring the coast of Sicily and enjoying spectacular excursions on Mount Etna, since it`s only 1 km from the Sicilian eastern main road (ss 114) and 5 km from the exit of the motorway "Giarre". Taormina is a 15 min drive away (15 Km); the beautiful long peebbly beach has a good range of "lidi" in summer( beach clubs offering facilities). The apartment is close the newly built "Porto dell`Etna" ( Etna`s marina ). "
