Means of access The nearest Airport is 50kms away at Dalaman, the villa is situated in a quiet residential area, it is just a short walk to the marina and numerous bars and restaurants in the old part of Fethiye town, there is even a Carrefour supermarket nearby!
A 10 minute walk leads to the seafront promenade, providing access to the marina and harbour where Boat trips depart for tours to the 12 islands, Gocek and Calis Beach, all at very reasonable rates. The Promenade is lined by numerous bars and restaurants. Local minibuses run every 10 mins to the centre of town, adjacent to the local market/bazaar and bus station, from here buses go to the beach at Calis and the beautiful lagoon at Olu Denize.
The location is such that car hire is not essential to a good holiday, the local facilities are in walking distance and the local transport system is very cheap, however for those that wish to go further afield car hire is available both locally and from the airport.
Hints and Tips Local markets: Tuesday Market in Fethiye (not to be missed), Sunday Market in Gocek, this is recommended by boat which stops off on the return to let you have a refreshing swim.
Local excursions: Kaya 'Ghost' village, Saklikent, Tlos, Yaka Park and Dalyan, or for the more adventurous coach trips to Ephesus and Pammukale are also available.
