" Great house, typical residence of the Seventeenth Century entirely restored, in full heart of the amazing médina of Fès (no motor vehicle traffic), near an extraordinary food souk, very close to the great Qaraouyine mosque, in the immediate vicinity of all means of transport, and all facilities (restaurants, cybercafés, banks, cinema…). Ideal site A copious breakfast, included in the price, is been useful on the almost shone upon terrace all the year. Equipped great kitchen, with some basic provisions. You may notice that the house keeper isd a very good cook... The existence of 2 contiguous houses makes it possible to accommodate groups made up from 10 to 12 people. Presence of a sympathetic nerve French and English speaking night watchman. The panoramic terrace is equipped with a pergola that allows enjoying it even in summer. Since April 2011, the majority of the establishment is equipped with the High speed Internet via WiFi and RJ45 wire, no extra charge. "

See the personal website of the owner" Take a tasty meal on the terrace or inside, prepared at cost by our housekeeper. Cheapest and tasty restaurants everywhere and around the place Bab Boudjelloud. Descent (or rise) of Talaa and the visit of the souks, even not very known (souks of the skin dressers, souk with henné), walk trip around of the Qaraouyine Mosq, and the Tanners, of which always the blasés sight déride. The one day excursions (in train or with a private taxi, the most convenient solution) to Meknès and Volubilis, or for example in the Cedar's forest with its monkeys which will charm the children. "

"We were very happy with the accommodation. Well located and close to most major attractions and close to a taxi rank. Zakariya and the cook made us feel at home and kept the riad clean. Breakfasts and most of our suppers were prepared by the cook and we were never disappointed by her wonderful meals. (Definitely value for money) We highly recommend this accommodation."

"We had a wonderful stay at Dar Mia. The stunning architecture of the house, the kindness of the staff and the location in the heart of the medina - yet far enough from the real touristy part - were all exceptional! I would recommend that anyone staying here have a few meals cooked at home...the quality and value of the food that was prepared for us was superior!"

"Sehr schönes und sorgfältig renoviertes Haus mit offenem Innenhof und grosser Terrasse. Die Stim- mung in diesem Dar ist einmalig. Zuvorkommendes und hilfsbereites Hauspersonal - wenn man will, wird man im Hause bestens bewirtet. Wir (Vater mit zwei erwachsenen Kindern) verbrachten wunderbare 10 Tage (teilweise während dem Ramadan - Vorteil wenig Tourismus) an diesem Ort - mit Ausflügen in die umliegenden Städte. Aziz, der ideale und herzliche Grand-Taxifahrer, hat einen unvergesslichen Ausflug in die Sahara organisiert (die dabei durchquerten kargen Landschaften des mittleren Atlas sind von ergreifender Schönheit). Es fiel schwer, von dem Haus in Fes und Marokko Abschied zu nehmen - besten Dank dem Dar Mia Team und Aziz - wir werden sicher wieder zurückkehren."

"Wir waren drei Nächte in diesem schönen Riad. Eine sehr nette Holländerin hat uns betreut. Das alte renovierte Haus, stellt eine Oase der Ruhe dar. Verlässt man den Riad, befindet man sich mitten im Souk. Einfach toll und aufregend!"
