" Beautifully furnished apartment in a quiet street in the heart of the city. 5 minutes walk to Princes Street with its wonderful views of the Castle, gardens and many shops. The area is steeped in history and has many excellent restaurants, cafes and individual shops. It is an ideal location to base yourself when coming to explore all the city has to offer with it's wonderful galleries, museums, restaurants and historic buildings. The apartment is tastefully furnished and well equipped with many modern convenience. There are comfortable beds, crisp cotton linen, and an ample supply of towels. Books and DVD are provide for those days when you feel like relaxing at home. The apartment is close to Stockbridge which is a lovely bohemian part of the city with its individual shops, great cafes, charity shops, and beautiful walks along the Water's of Leith to the Galleries of Modern Art, the Botanical Gardens or on to Leith where Britannia moored. "

See the personal website of the owner" The Stockbridge Restaurants is excellent. Bell's Diner is legendary for it's burgers. Hector's is a great place to go for Sunday brunch and the Baillie for local character and chat. Henderson's has good food at an affordable price and a lively bar atmosphere. Stockbridge is well worth exploring and it's not where you average tourist goes. "

"Die Wohnung in den Jamaica Mews ist super! Sehr komfortabel, äusserst ruhig, in bequemer Gehdistanz zur Alt- und Neustadt. Eine gut eingerichtete Küche mit allem Nötigen. Gute Restaurants und die wunderbare Kay''s Bar in nächster Nähe.Und nicht zuletzt ein angenehmer Kontakt mit der Vermieterin Katie."

"Charmante petite maison individuelle en plein centre mais dans une rue très calme.Un intérieur confortable et décoré avec beaucoup de goût et de luxe même.Tout est fait pour faciliter le séjour par une hôtesse charmante et attentive.Pied à terre idéal pour un séjour à quatre personnes dans cette ville où les visites sont variées et passionnantes.Location à conseiller sans hésiter! La cerise sur le gâteau : une cheminée dans le salon qui permet des soirées au coin du feu!"

"It was a very good choice because the aparment was very clean with a lot of facilities and it is placed in New Town where you can go walking to the station... I recommend the flat . Katie was very kind and she helped us when we needed."
