" This stunning pet friendly cottage is spacious and tastefully furnished. It has its own private courtyard with flowers and seating and stands in the grounds of the owners' home with its natural pond where you can sit, have a barbecue and watch the sun go down over glorious Dunmanus Bay. Just 500m from Durrus Village with its excellent grocery store, cafe, four bustling pubs, two of which serve food, and two restaurants. The cottage is furnished with everything you will need for a truly relaxing holiday. Downstairs is a large living/dining room/(lovely pellet stove for those chillier evenings) /fully equipped kitchen with its full size cooker, microwave, washer/dryer. Satellite TV, video, DVD, stereo/Cd player. Shower room with power shower, wash basin and toilet. Upstairs, there is a large bedroom with a 2m wide bed with its wonderful memory foam mattress helping to ensure a great night's sleep. On the landing there is an additional full size single bed and a double futon. Two Z beds are also available. Electric blankets are available for those chillier nights. Electricity and heating are included in the rental. A travel cot, high chair and stair gate available on request. Wi-fi internet access at no extra cost. Baby sitting can be arranged. There are options for enjoyable activities locally, with walking and cycle routes, the famous West Cork Garden Trail. Take a boat from Schull to Cape Clear Island. While Bantry, 8km away, offers golf, cinema and the delightful Bantry House, heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room at the West Lodge Hotel. Take a boat trip to visit the seals and the wonderful Italian Gardens at Garnish Island. Whale watching trips are also available. "

"Everything is perfect in this cottage(very comfortable, near the coast...). It''s a good place to visit the area of Cork to Killarney. The welcome is specially warmy and Mr an Mrs Green really helpfull. "

Een heerlijk huis, zeer luxe voor met z'n tweeën maar zeker ook met 4 confortabel. Van alle gemakken voorzien, ruim (zowel de woonkamer als de enorme slaapkamer boven), heerlijk rustig, leuke zitjes buiten, incl. vijver, schattig dorpje op loopafstand met een goed restaurant (alleen op vrijdag open), mooie omgeving en de eigenaren wonen op het zelfde perceel maar zijn er alleen als je ze aanspreekt/nodig hebt; dus afgelegen maar niet verlaten. Hartelijke ontvangst door eigenaresse. Een aanrader!

"Het huis ligt erg strategisch ten opzichte van de peninsula's Mizen Head en Sheeps Head en Ring van Beara is ook prima te doen. Ligging is net buiten het dorp. Vrije ligging maar niet afgelegen. Het cottage ligt achter de woning van de eigenaar. Ze zijn er wel als je ze nodig hebt, maar je voelt de vrijheid. Gastvrije mensen! Mooie vergezichten! Het huis is supernetjes en van alle gemakken voorzien. Wat je thuis nodig zou hebben is er in principe tot aan een verrekijker aan toe. Over de aankleding en details is gewoon nagedacht!"
