Magnificent Spacious Villa in a Traditional Garden

"The villa is in a delightfully quiet location on the outskirts of a tiny village. It’s spacious, with balconies and terraces on every side, allowing us to choose to sit in the sun or the shade as required. My partner was delighted with what she called “a proper kitchen with proper cooking utensils” and we breakfasted on the terrace and dined in the large, adjacent dining room. We couldn’t help but feel superior to our fellow tourists packed away in their crowded hotels."

"This is a charming, tastefully decorated property on the outskirts of the tiny village of Arkou. The rooms are spacious and the outside spaces (the kitchen terrace and the large upstairs balcony in particular) are delightful. The beach is a pleasant ten minute cycle ride away (Djerba is largely flat and easy to explore by even the less energetic, non-lycra-wearing cyclist) and the colourful market town of Midoun can be reached in 25 minutes. The villa makes an ideal get-away for those who like their holidays away from the crowds."

"We really enjoyed our stay in the villa. We stayed for 2 weeks in february. The house is very big and cold during the winter. The contact before, during and after our stay was very nice. We felt really safe and privat in the villa. The villa could need some renovation and new utilizes to clean up the house during and after the stay. Also with this size of house we would love to have a dishwasher, especially because it is a holiday house and at this time of the year it did not have that much hot water from the sun. The villa is very loving decorated and you have almost everything you need in the kitchen, also the television and the Wifi worked without any problems. We also enjoyed the balconies a lot. We think we would like to come back to this villa, but prefer to use it again when it gets warmer in Djerba :-D"
