" The town of Riumar is very quiet. It has some small bars and restaurants (2) and a beautiful sea avenue. The beaches, 200 meters from the house, are almost solitary and made with sand dunes and autochthonous vegetation. The waters are clean and warn in summer.
You can fish in the evenings on the sea shore or rent a boat for curry fishing, either alone or with a monitor. Your own boat is welcome as there is a small sportive harbor where you can embark or disembark.
The house is detached and wall surrounded so your kits can play safely; big plants will preserve you and your family from the neighbor’s sight when you swim, sunbath, barbecue or simply relay reading .
At night you can sleep without hearing any noise: no barking dogs, no traffic…
If you need supplies you can either go to the small supermarket in Riumar or to one of the 2 big supermarkets in Deltebre (6 mile drive) where you can find anything you need. Don’t miss the weekly street market of Deltebre on Thursday and the Municipal market to buy fish and fresh vegetables.
If you feel like doing activities you have many choices. Sport, cultural, naturalist, shopping, golfing, sailing, fishing, walking, cycling…
Riumar is a paradise for windsurfers, in winter. In summer the wind is light and warm, ideal for relaxed sailing.
If you are a golf lover you have a high quality Golf course at less than 1 hour drive http://www.golfinspain.com/courses/536.
If you like history and art you have Unescos’ world Heritage places such the Roman City of Tarragona (1 hour drive) and The Middle Age City of Morella, with its walls, towers, museums, narrow streets flanked by picturesque shops, etc.
After this cultural visit, you spend a day in the thematic Park of Port Aventura, a Universal Studios Park, and just a few miles from Tarragona.
Want to spend a crazy night? Salou is your choice. There are plenty of Discos, Pubs Bars and it is massively crowded.
For walking and trekking there is another Natural Reservation Park , Els Ports de Torotosa Besseit, a complete different landscape just 1 hour drive from Riumar (http://www.ebrotours.co.uk/walking.htm).
And the most important, do not forget to bring your best camera with you. You can make a wonderful album of birds, fish, monuments and cute towns. I recommend a photo “safari” throughout the Delta, especially don’t forget to visit the Poblenou town, a wonderful “colonial style” village.

Means of access By car follow AP7 and exit at L'Ampolla. Take the N340 towards valencia a few kilometers and turn left to Camerles. After Camerles head to Deltebre, cross it and folow the Riumar signs.
From Uk there is a daily Ryanair flight to Reus http://www.ryanair.com , which is about 60 miles from Riumar.
