'Ciasa toa' is located at approx. 1 mile from the centre of Cortina d'Ampezzo which is easily reached with a pleasant 15-minutes walk. " Cortina d'Ampezzo is located in the North of Italy, Veneto Region, within the Natural Park of the Italian Dolomites, which have recently been declared as UNESCO World Heritage. A well-known winter and summer mountain resort, Cortina hosted the 1956 Winter Olympics. Cortina offers all main attractions: alpine and crosscountry skiing, snowboard, snow-shoeing, off-piste excursions, ice rink, indoor swimming-pool, climbing and mountaineering, MTB on the famous route of the Dolomites. A brand new 9-hole golf ground is available in a natural setting of astonishing beauty. Cortina d'Ampezzo is candidate for the 2017 Ski Championships and every year in January it hosts a race of the Women's World Ski Cup. One of the main attractions of this enchanted valley is 'Corso Italia', the main street. Here, under the imposing Church Tower and the newly-appointed Basilica an active social and cultural life and top-quality shopping area available. Excellent cuisine for all tastes and all prices. "

"Fantastic apartment in great location, although a car is essential. Used as a base by 5 gentleman for walking / climbing holiday. Location is in a quiet location at Alvera, up hill, outside Cortina centre by about 1 mile. Not walking distance if you''ve spent the day in the mountains. River and waterfall is at side of apartment. The apartment is well double glazed, but there is some noise from the running water. Apartment is well furnished and has some great personal touches. Loads of books and information. There was basic foods in the cupboards, washing up liquid / cleaning materials / shampoo etc. All towels and linen were provided. We made it home for a week and it had everything we needed. Very cosy. Heating was brilliant to dry wet clothes. Complimentary wine from Walter and Vittoria was excellent and a great personal welcome. Their English was excellent and we found them very warm and welcoming. We are already looking at re-booking and this facility would be our first choice. A big thank you to Walter and Vittoria for a brilliant stay. Dave Hutchinson (Ampleforth, York, England)"

Casa bien situada a pocos minutos del centro de Cortina, zona tranquila al lado del rio, amplia, limpia y con todo lo que puedas necesitar. Toda la familia Catturani es fantastica, atenta en ante cualquier necesidad, te traen el pan y los croassaints cada dia recien hechos, Walter nos ha ayudado en todo, por cierto muy buenos los "penne al mago" en el restaurante que nos recomendaste, su padre el Sr C. , su hermana, el hijo de Walter todos fueron muy amables con nosotros. sin duda volveremos. Gracias Walter y recuerdos a toda la familia.
