" Surrounded by Amalfi, Positano and Sorrento, the place is simply perfect and of incomparable beauty! The villa, which is located in a wonderful park, has a private entrance, the design and furniture are in the typical mediterranean style, it also has a big garden with lemon trees and vineyards, plants and flowers. If you wish, you can have local dishes cooked for you in the villa by a cook and you can taste our delicious homemade marmelade and the famous limoncello liqueur (lemon liqueur) offered by the landlady. In the surroundings there is everything you might wish for a relaxing holiday. If you fancy culture holidays, Pompei and Paestum are well worth a visit. For a relaxing stroll and for your shopping, Ravello, Positano and the gorgeous islands of Capri and Ischia are the ideal. If you prefer nature, then Mount Vesuvio is the solution. " In the surroundings there are lovely fish restaurants where you can taste local dishes such as seafood spaghetti, spaghetti with courgettes, fried fish at quite a reasonable price. Two little restaurants (trattorie), ‘Il Risorgimento’ and ‘La Tonnarella’, are right on the beach just 300m away from the villa. Jaqueline Kennedy, the Counts Moet Chandon and Sophia Loren spent their holidays on the beach of Conca dei Marini, it is held one of the 12 most beautiful Italian beaches. From here you can go out to Capri or Ischia by either yacht or sailing boat. In the little town of Amalfi, which is part of UNESCO world heritage, pay a visit to the wonderful Amalfi Cathedral, a 9th century Christian structure of Arab-Norman architectural style. The front facade is of Byzantine style, whereas the Romanesque style bell tower is off-center and includes four small towers of Arab architectural type that are adorned with arches and are covered with majolica tiles. 62 large and steep steps lead up to the doors. If you fancy a delicious pizza in Amalfi we recommend two restaurants, either ‘Lo Smeraldino’ or ‘Donna Stella’, in the latter you can enjoy your pizza outdoor in a lemon tree garden. We also recommend ‘Da Gemma’ and ‘Marina Grande’. In Ravello, then, you can’t miss Villa Rufolo and its music Festival in July, whereas Villa Cimbrone can delight you with a lovely stroll among its wonderful gardens. "+ The villa is located in a quiet and cozy park + Fresh air, sea view, a good mix of sun and shade in the villa + The friendly owners, who are trying to make the stay comfortable - No free parking next to the house (and generally not). Parking cost us 10-15 euros per day - No normal supermarkets and vegetable stalls. Prices are higher than in Salerno market to 1.5 - 2 times - Time to get to the beach is 30 minutes of continuous speska the steps (or need to climb back) - Owners English is very poore"
