" Ideal for a relaxing holydays in a small medieval village completely preserved. The apartment is located on a house built on the medieval wall (surrounding the little village) with double facing, to the village and to the valley, delimited by little hills with medieval villages and towers on top. Renovated and furnished with care, using local traditional materials, as wooden beams and “cotto” floors; fireplace available and linen included. Colle is very close to Montecatini Terme (about 5 km) famous centre for thermal water and SPA center; Colle is in a strategic position for visiting Toscany Arts cities, very close and very well linked with railways and highways: Lucca (28 km), Pistoia (27 Km), Firenze (60 km), Pisa (54 km), Siena (120 km). Seaside (Versilia) and mountain area (Appennino Pistoiese) are both easily reachable in less than one hour drive. Other interesting touristic place are Garfagnana region (on the Serchio river valley), the medieval village of Barga, the oil and wine itinerary (Lucca countryside), the beautiful Lucchesia’ ville, the litte village Torre del Lago Puccini, between the Lake of Massaciuccoli and the Tyrrhenian Sea, venue of the Puccinian Festival, favorite destination of opera lovers. The quiet and timeless atmosphere of Colle represents an ideal place to take a rest after tourist visits. "

" Have typical and very good Tuscan food on the restaurant on the little square of Colle (open air during summer time), very close to the house; you can taste traditional plates but also pizza. Visit the Collodi Pinocchio park inaugurated in 1956, which is no ordinary theme park, but rather a precious masterpiece created by artists of great character working together; don’t miss the butterfly’s house in the Guerzoni Park, just in front. Take a walk on the hills around Colle, with old olive trees, quite and beautiful medieval villages and a timeless landscape. Take the train to reach Florence (nearly every hour; 55 minutes travel), Lucca (nearly every hour; every 30 minutes in the morning and in the afternoon; 30 minutes travel), Pisa (nearly every hour; some train change at Lucca; 1h and 10 minutes travel), Viareggio (nearly every hour; 45/50 minutes), Pistoia (nearly every half an hour; 10/15 minutes). Swimming pool in a park (5/10 km) "

"We had the most wonderful 3.5 week stay in Colle di Buggiano, a very charming, beautiful and idyllic village. The house is lovely and the view from the balcony breathtaking. It was clean and well maintained, 45 mins from Florence and Pisa airports. Daniela looked after us very well and was so helpful during our whole stay. There are lots of stuff to do and see within one hour's car ride - Florence, Lucca, Pinocchio's Park, Livorno beach etc. having a rental car is essential. I would recommend this place both for couples looking for a romantic holiday as well as families with young children. Our two year old son enjoyed playing with the local kids on the little square by the church where there is a popular and friendly restaurant that serves tasty local food. There is also a small playground, lots of cats and dogs around which was fun for the children. It was very authentic and truly Italian. We have no hesitations in recommending this lovely place."

"Maison très agréable, tant l''intérieur, très chaleureux, que le balcon, avec la vue sur la campagne. Confortable, propre, cachet, toutes les commodités nécessaires. Le village est aussi très plaisant, avec le restaurant et le petit bar, tranquille durant la journée, animé en soirée. De belles promenades à faire autour, à quelques minutes en voiture de la petite ville ou on allait faire les provisions et garer la voiture pour prendre le train à la gare. Nous avons beaucoup aimé la maison et l''emplacement."
