Cottage is set on several hundred acres of mountain walks (land owned by cottage owners)and is near some of Irelands most beautiful beaches. Clifden town is less than 2 miles away and has a great variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. There is traditional irish music most evenings in the town. The cottage is close to some lovely sights such as Kylemore Abbey, Skye road and Ballinahinch Castle. Ballyconnelly Golf Links is close by as is the Clifden Yacht club.

Means of access From Galway city head for Clifden. Just before you arrive in Clifden (less than half a mile) you will turn off to your right . The laneway to cottage is located between Mal Dua guesthouse and Waterloo House Bed and Breakfast. The cottage is a mile and a half along the laneway on your left hand side.
Hints and Tips There is lots to see and do; some great beaches, Ballinahinch castle, Kylemore Abbey and gardens, Syke road, Ballyconnelly Golf Links, Killary Adventure Centre, Divewest for diving at every level, Connemara National Park, Oceans Alive Natural Museum, connemara pony shows and regattas.
