Means of access Our B&B is situated in Poggio del Drago, a village within Civitella in Val di Chiana
municipal district, on number 69 provincial road connecting Arezzo to Valdarno on the
famous Wine Road.
Because of its geographic position, the climate is always temperate and windy, even in
the hottest summer days.
Only 9 km far from Arezzo, reachable in a few minutes’ drive, from Poggio del Drago you
can also easily reach A1 highway, the most famous Tuscany cities, Florence (65 km), Siena
(45 km), Cortona (25 km), Casentino’s forests and Valdarno, Valdichiana and
Valdambra’s countryside.
HOW TO ARRIVE
Poggio del Drago B&B is located in Civitella in Val di Chiana, 600 metres far from the provincial road that connects Arezzo with Valdarno, between Ponticino and Pieve a Maiano, 9 kms far from Arezzo. For those coming from Valdarno, go pass the village of Ponticino, after 1 km turn right and continue 600 meters on the country road (easily drivable and with signs). For those coming from Arezzo, 2 kms after Pieve a Maiano, turn left and keep the country road as before.
For those coming from A1 Milano-Napoli, exit Arezzo, continue towards the city, exit Ponte a Chiani. Follow the signs for Montevarchi (SP 69), go pass Indicatore, Pieve a Maiano and after 2 kms you will find our signs on the left. Our B&B is about 10 kms far from the highway exit.
