" Villa Thimari is one in style decorated villa who is situated on the hills of Harkia and has a magnificent view over the Cretan Sea. Built on the side of the Anemomylos Mountain the villa combine comfort with a beautiful nature. The historical Arkadi Monastery is only a few kilometers away and there is a great view on mountain Psiloritis. The villa is suitable for 4-6 persons and has a private swimming pool. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms in the villa. The upper floor bedrooms are with double bed and an extra sofa bed for two more persons, a hydro massage cabin in the bathroom and a large balcony with pergola. On the ground floor there is a spacious Living/Dining room with siting sofas, fireplace, satellite TV, dining table and fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, electric stove, microwave oven, fridge and freezer, coffee machine, washing machine etc. All rooms have air conditions. Barbeque and dining furniture around the swimming pool make pleasant and romantic summer evenings outside. The nearest traditional food tavern is in a distance of 500m. The beach is 9kw away and the town of Rethymno can be found at 17km. "

"Located in an impressive setting atop a ravine yet only 15 minutes from the sea, this brand new villa offers the best of the tranquility of the mountains as well as the vicinity to most of the interesting sites in Crete. What truly grabbed us was the warm welcome and hospitality of the owners, which made us feel right at home. An exceptional place in every way. We loved it!"

"Die Harkia Villas sind ein echter Geheimtipp. Die Lage und die Ausstattung sind geradezu perfekt. Alles wunderbar neu, sauber und professionell. Für unsere 2-jährige Tochter wurde eigens ein neues Kinderbett, ein Reisebett, ein Kinderstuhl und Geschirr angeschafft. Die Familie ist rührend besorgt und bietet einen sehr herzlichen und liebevollen Service (Reinigung, Ausstattung, Einladung zum Essen, selbst hergestelltes Olivenöl und Wein, Spielzeuge für Kinder). Die Villas sind in einem Top-Zustand (Haus, Küche, Bad, Pool, TV, AC) und die Lage lässt keine Wünsche offen - direkt in den Bergen und dennoch einen super Blick zum Meer. Die Villa Thimari ist besser für kleine Kinder geeignet (Terassen-Fläche und Pool), die Villa Faskomilia bietet einen noch spektakuläreren Blick ins Tal und zum Meer. Die Villas liegen im Scheitel eines schönen Tals außerhalb des Dorfes Harkia, inmitten von Olivenhainen, Ziegen und Schafen. Ruhe und Exklusivität sind stets gewahrt. Über den Tag verteilt fahren vielleicht 5-8 Autos die Straße entlang und sorgen fast schon für eine willkommende Abwechselung... Argiri, Vaso und Nikos sind perfekte Gastgeber und helfen bei Fragen unkompliziert und sehr freundlich weiter. Die Harkia Villas sind uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen und bieten mehr, als ein perfekter Urlaub auf Kreta braucht:-)))"

"Nous avons passé 3 semaines dans la villa et avons été ravis.La vue est grandiose, on ne s''en lasse pas.L''isolement dans la montagne crétoise est trés agréable pour échapper au tumulte du bord de mer. Merci à toute la famille v. pour sa gentillesse et un merci special à la maman qui nous a preparé de nombreux plats typiquement greques qui étaient tous delicieux."
