Independent apartment/flat with great terrace and beautiful view

"We had a nice stay at Villa Mugnano Riding Club near Certaldo. We were a party of five people - three adults and two children. The owner, Paris Lutge, was very helpful and responded promptly to our enquiries. When there, she suggested places of interest to visit, since we went to Tuscany primarily to go sightseeing and not to relax on the farm. Children were happy to see all the animals - cats, dogs and horses, adults were too exhausted from the sightseeing, to be able to participate in their delights. The kitchen is very well equipped, the apartment is furnished to taste; we loved the rustic Tuscan details. It was spacious enough for the five of us, airy and bright. The only setback were the three single beds which were a bit hard, but some people prefer it that way. All in all - an ideal place for people who want peace and quiet of the countryside and those who want a base for making the trips to famous places (and hidden gems) as it is set in the very heart of Tuscany."

"Absolutely enjoyed our one-week stay at the apartment. Everything in it's place, espresso machine, caffetiera and towels + towel hangers included! The All Saints holiday temperatures were not low, but still the heater was nicely warming us up - especially children - during nights. Location has good connections, so we combined car + train from Certaldo to Florence, Siena. Children's highlight was animals visiting us around house/apartment - especially the cats and always tail-wagging dog Sweety. The owners were always available, also for extra breakfast eggs and advice about possible trekking routes. As we wish to spread Slovenian language around the globe and make it a substitute for English as a new lingua franca (that's a joke), I'll write additional comment in Slovenian: Priporočam vsem, ki bi radi izkusili Toskano tudi zunaj prenatrpanih Firenc - sredi gričkov, posejanih z oljkami in vinogradi in graščinami. As for my personal taste I have to emphasize one more thing: there were absolutely no additional costs to the price. Rare & really appreciated. Once again: highly recommended for people who enjoy nature."

"This is a decent holiday place in the heart of Tuscany , owned by very friendly and interesting people Paris and Stefano, away from traffic and 7 min by car to the picturesque Certaldo Alto. This lovely small villa was perfectly clean with anything we needed there, very nice garden and swimming pool. The owner also has a stable nearby and offers horse riding across hills for reasonable prices ! :) great fun"

"Peace, quiet,and Tuscan charm. This place had it all. The owner, Paris, was more than helpful, assisting with her fluent Italian and English and a trip to Certaldo to repair our flat tire, assistance with the local grocery shopping and products. and an extensive tour of Certaldo to help navigate the town. She gave info re: events,and local points of interest. The apt was lovely, clean, and supplied with all the essentials for our first morning including a special cake for breakfast and a bottle of complimentary wine. We were in heaven. The surrounding countryside was lovely as was the view, with ample opportunities for long walks and soaking up the sun. Every consideration was given for our comfort and well being. In short, we found a wonderful home in Tuscany. I would return in a heartbeat."

"Excellent location, close to Chianti Classico, Siena, Florence. Certaldo and nearby Poggiobonzi offer all one's needs such as food, wine and entertainment. Landlady very attentive to needs, went beyond the expected in offering a typical Tuscan dinner, supplying fresh eggs from henhouse. Accomondation very good with all the necessary kitchen furnishings, linens, furniture. A quiet, beautiful setting for a Tuscan holiday in countryside."
