" The balcony overlooking the pines, oaks, cork trees and strawberry trees. The view takes in the two hectares of our woodland sloping downwards to a brook and the fields that rise beyond. The house has been completely renovated over the last five years: tiled floors on the ground floor and parquet in the rest. The balcony is twenty square metres so you can have your meals outside as it’s right next to the kitchen. The kitchen and dining area has comfortable room for eight and includes a smaller TV area. The main living room next door is 30 square metres and has ample room for guests. Upstairs there are five bedrooms: one en-suite with double bed, two doubles and two singles with two more bathrooms. The house is well shaded by trees so it’s cool in summer and warm in winter with a good fire going. It has full central heating. Outside you can relax on the balcony, watch the wildlife and listen to the birds. You can swim and lounge in the pool area or explore the woods. " "

" Play golf at the PGA Catalunya Golf Club only ten minutes away. Choose between the Stadium and Tour courses designed by Angel Gallardo and Neil Coles. Go walking on the tracks and paths around the villa. Watch birds at the wetlands of Sils and in our woods of course. Go to the beaches of the lower Costa Brava (or just relax by the pool). Caldes de Malavella has two spas (El Prat and Vichy Catalan) where you can treat yourself or just have a coffee in beautiful surroundings. Girona, twenty kilometres to the north, is a city with a stunning old quarter and cathedral. Enjoy the culinary delights of local restaurants and the volcanic area of Olot and the beauty of villages like Besalú. Barcelona is fifty minutes by train (or take the motorway (80 Kilometres)) to the city of Gaudi, the Ramblas and less well known attractions such as the Mies Van der Rohe building for the 1929 Expo.
