" “In Bologna we recommend visiting the numerous monuments, Piazza Maggiore, the Basilica of St. Petronius, Piazza Re Enzo, Palazzo dei Notai (of the Notaries), Portico del Pavaglione with its many high fashion shops, the Fountain of Neptune, the Palazzo Comunale (Town Hall), the Cathedral of St. Peter, the Basilica of St. Stephen with its 7 churches, the numerous museums, the Strada Maggiore in the historic center, the Jewish Ghetto rich with history and atmospheric alleyways, and the Madonna di San Luca Basilica, dedicated to the city’s protectress, situated on the Monte della Guardia, from which a lovely panorama can be viewed. The Madonna di San Luca Basilica can be reached both by car and by way of a lovely promenade along the portico that starts at Porta Saragozza and leads, passing under the Meloncello Arch, to the Basilica, which contains the simulacrum of a black Madonna to whom the Bolognese are very devoted. Bologna is known throughout the world as the “Turrita” (Towered), the “Dotta” (Learned), and the “Grassa” (Fat), by virtue of its numerous towers, ancient university, and famous cuisine. "The apartment was excellent, clean and comfortable and appeared to be newly renovated. It was great having a washing machine and dishwasher that worked well. It's in a residential area close to all that Bologna has to offer. In addition to Bologna's great markets, there was a very good large supermarket a few blocks away. Elisa was very welcoming and on our arrival had a generous dessert from the local restaurant waiting. She also supplies the apartment with city maps and information. Make sure to visit Le Sfogline handmade pasta at Via Belvedere 7/B just a few blocks away. You put your order in, and come back before dinner to pick it up. We had absolutely wonderful tortellone filled with ricotta and herbs. And the sisters who make them are warm and friendly."

"We felt really good at the apartment at Via delle Lame, at Bolgona. It was very clean, well situated, and confortable with all furniture new, all staff. The owner is also veri firendly and nice. And, don't miss Bologna it's such a great city!!!!"

"Excellent accueil de la propriétaire. Le logement est idéalement situé et très agréable avec une mention spéciale pour la salle de bains, vraiment très bien. Grande facilité d''accès, et en plus Elisa la propriétaire nous a conseillés et réservé un taxi très gentiment. Si je reviens à Bologne en famille, je louerai à nouveau chez cette propriétaire, le logement est idéal!"
