" The rural house ¨La Caleya¨, is situated in an enclave of magnificent beauty, on the slope of a picturesque valley with spectacular views, in the quaint village of Bobia de Arriba, in Onís. In this beautiful place, you will enjoy absolute tranquillity and have the privilege to visit the wonders of the Orient of Asturias, including the impressive European Peaks, a paradise for mountaineers, and other marvels such as the Urriellu Peak (Naranjo de Bulnes), the famous Route of Cares, the remote village of Bulnes, the Covadonga Sanctuary, Covadonga Lakes, the Sella River, which hosts the “Descent of the Sella River,” a very famous canoe race and celebration, that occurs every August. In addition, this is an ideal location for nature lovers and for those who enjoy adventure sports, such as hiking, climbing, horse riding, canoeing, caving, and canyoning. Spain, ASTURIAS Cangas de Onís : 15 Km Natural park: 5 Km

Means of access :

Bobia de Arriba is located in the municipality of Onís, whose capital is Benia de Onis, which in can be accessed from the AS-114, halfway between Cangas de Onis and Arenas de Cabrales, 15 km from each village. Benia de Onis is also accessible directly from the coast, from the AS-115, which goes from Posada de Llanes to the top of Ortiguero. At the end of AS-115, there is a roundabout. Take the first exit of the roundabout to Cangas de Onis, leading to Benia de Onis, which is approximately 4 km. From Benia de Onis, there is a crossing to Bobia de Arriba (which is a distance of approximately 3.5 Km), at which point there will be signs to mark the way to Gamonedo, Demués, Bobia de Abajo and Bobia de Arriba. Coming from Arenas de Cabrales, the crossing is just outside of Benia, on the left. If you come from Cangas de Onis, the crossing is just before entering Benia, right in front of some modern buildings that are an interpretive center for nature and a multipurpose building. You will pass the small village, Bobia de Abajo, and continue on to arrive in Bobia de Arriba, where there will be a sign which reads "La Caleya."
