Pretty Bay is today one of the best beaches on the Island. You have the main road adjoining the beach with many easy to get to 'Take away Food' shops, you have bars that you can dash in for a drink and other facilities that help you enjoy your days at the beach. At the side of beach there is also a children's playground and two football-grounds. You also have buses that run past the beach at every few minutes interval.

Means of access Taxi is the easiest way to get there from the airport! At Birzebbugia there is a bus terminus which connects the town to the other major towns such as the capital city Valetta!
Hints and Tips Birzebbuga lies deep in the south on the great bay of Marsaxlokk(Pretty Bay). The city is very nice and has a certain charm. The city has some viewing sights; however most of them are old. The other major towns are:
Marsaxlokk (2.31km)- the best known fishing village in Malta. Sunday Market from 9.00am is a must!
Valletta (8.29km)- the capital city of Malta, Full of History and shopping outlets including the street market.
Sliema (9.9km)- the recreation centre in Malta; here you can find numerous shopping outlets for clothing, jewellery, souvenirs, books, etc. Then there are also cafes, bars, restaurants and much, much more...
St. Julians (11.12km)- the former fishing village has become a well known tourist attraction with many restaurants, cafes and bars.
