"This is not the first time we have stayed here and it will certainly not be the last. Each time I come to Bellagio I love it more, and the people seem even warmer than the last. The location of this apartment is second to none. Central and in the thick of it, yet high enough that you can get away from it to some peace and quiet. Nothing not to love."

"Being in Bellagio for our daughter's wedding we rented both of the Casa La Scalinata apartments, the "oldies" in the "Mansard" (for the wonderful views) and the young "Above the Shops" (where they could entertain some of their many friends on the terrace). Both apartments were great - very clean, modern, well appointed, plenty of space and hot water, etc. and Carla and her mother were wonderful hosts, very friendly and helpful. The location, in this very beautiful lakeside town, could not have been better - restaurants, bars and shops all around and even a mini-mart within a short (level!) walk! One minor criticism, being next to two restaurants, the lower apartment can suffer a bit from street noise until the restaurants close - a minor problem - the "Mansard", upstairs, is not affected!"

"What a fantastic apartment. We couldn't have done better. Lovely and spacious,with a wonderful atmosphere, and very comfortable too. Magnificent views over the lake. And convenient for everything. We had an exceptional two weeks. I cannot speak too highly of the accommodation or the location. It certainly was an excelent choice. we are so glad that we stayed there."

"The apartment was very clean and comfortable and was situated right in the middle of the beautiful little town. This meant that all amenities were right at hand and the surroundings had a lovely atmosphere. The owner was very helpful as was the lady upstairs-Adriana. The downside of the location was that some nights were rather noisy but the pros far outweighed the cons. It would be fair to point out that although the apartment is quite roomy and well furnished, the kitchen is tiny."
