" Nestled in a large garden planted with figs, plums, apples and pears, stands the beautiful 19th Century Maison Filippi. Renovated to a high standard over recent years, the house has been in the Filippi family for generations, and is a very good example of a typical Corsican family home. The door opens onto the spacious and air living room with fireplace feature and comfortable seating. From here, an internal step leads up to the dining area and then the modern kitchen which has been fully equipped with cooker, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and washing machine. From here there is access to the parking area. On the ground floor there is also a family bathroom with toilet. Open plan stairs from the living room lead up to the first floor where there is a double bedroom off which there is a further bedroom with twin beds and cot, and a bunk-bedded room which leads to a spacious bedroom with a double bed and an extra single bed. There is a shower room with toilet. Air conditioning adds the finishing touch to this lovely family home. Outside is a large terrace shaded by ancient palm trees. The views from here are lovely, and there is nothing better than watching the sun set over the surrounding countryside whilst sipping a glass of the delicious local Muscat, as generations of Corsicans have done before. Beyond the terrace is the garden where the superb swimming pool is surrounded by flowers and fruit trees. The pool is shared with Chez Marie-Claire, the one bedroom apartment next door except for the last 2 weeks of August when guests at Maison Filippi have exclusive use of the "

"We enjoyed our stay very much and would gladly return! The place is nice for two families, with two separate bedrooms with extra room connected. We have stayed mostly outside on the nice terrace shaded by the tall palm trees. The view on the St.Florent bay is magnificent. The pool was nice and clean and really large. The landlord, Mr. F. was very attentive and nice to talk to. Even though we have read some review suggesting the need for a small car to drive in, we had no major problems fit in our Land Rover Discovery ..."

"Nous avons loué cette belle maison à plusieurs et nous serions bien restés plus longtemps. Tout ce qui est annoncé est juste et bien plus. "Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Barbaggio. L''''endroit est superbe, la maison très bien équipée et très propre, la piscine géniale, et la vue à partir de la terrasse est magnifique. En plus, le propriétaire est très serviable. Bref, tout ce qu''''il faut pour des vacances réussies.2 semaines de pur bonheur dans cette maison. Nous avons profité des couchers de soleil quotidien, bien accompagnés de bons vins de Patrimonio. Les enfants se sont amusés comme des fous. Un grand merci à Monsieur F."

"2 semaines de pur bonheur dans cette maison dotée d''une magnifique piscine et d''une vue splendide. Nous avons profité des couchers de soleil quotidien, bien accompagnés par la coppa et le Muscat de Patrimonio. Les enfants se sont amusés comme des fous et les parents en ont bien profité aussi! Une grand merci à Monsieur Filippi, le plus sympathique propriétaire que nous ayons rencontré...nous reviendrons!!"
