Here's why - the apartment was spotlessly clean when we arrived. - it has a very high quality of fit out including great linen, a kitchen with everything, great storage space etc. - the private terrace has a view of the blue ocean and the roof top terrace is wonderful to catch the sun or just chill out. - Piera made us feel like family during our stay and we were lucky enough to be given some beautiful produce from their family garden - Piera also spent hours showing me how to cook typical Sicilian dishes which was the highlight of my trip. "I came to Balestrate with my family of 6: son (7 years), husband, my mother, my sister and her son (10 years). We sent just wonderful time in this apartment! Very quite area, wonderful flowers at the entrance, more than enough space for 6 peoples, huge balcony! Roof was also very nice, with sunchairs, shower etc. Sign. Piera was very helpful and kind. Balestrate itself is very nice and charming, and very well located to explore the west part of the island."

"Very nice, beautiful and charming apartment. Totally quiet. Well placed for visit of the western part of Sicily, from Palermo in the north to e.g. temples at the south. Very good restaurant just 500m away. Warm welcome and good guidance for e.g. bus and train to Palermo by Piera and family (we understood quickly, that driving car in Palermo not is advisable!). Dear Piera, thanks for this very pleasant stay."

"Das war unsere esrste Aufenthalt in Sizilien und es hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Wohnung befindet sich auf einer ruhigen Priwatstrasse (nur paar hundert Meter vom Dorfmitte entfernt), ist sehr gemühtlich und super ausgestattet!!!! Es gibt sogar viele Spielzeuge für kleine Kinder, von denen unser 2-jährigen Sohn begeistert war. Piera und Ihre Familie sind nett, immer hilfsbereit. Die Nachbarschaft spricht deutsch und beantwortet gerne alle Fragen. Balestrate hat gute Bus-, Zug- und Autobahnverbindungen mit anderen Städten. "
