With the family in mind:
In the Goldene Hahn we love them all – large and small: The Goldener Hahn has earned notable reviews, including the German Ministry of Familiy. We know that the successful family holiday depends directly upon the children! Baiersbronn (http://www.baiersbronn.de) also promotes family oriented holidays with special programs (during the school holidays) devised just for kids, such as excursions, sporting events, interesting courses and guided tours to keep them occupied every day.
Baiersbronn – The place to Vacation in the Black Forest:
Welcome to Baiersbronn: Are you familiar with the Black Forest? The landscape here is the setting for one of the most beautiful vacatuion spots in the heart of Europe. Baiersbronn is the most heavily forested vacationarea in south-western Germany. A total of eight communities, loacted in an unspoiled natural setting, devote themselves to playing host to vacationers. Each community is unique in its own way. The region’s particular charm lies in a combination of what the various communities have ti offer. There is something for everyone here – for the athletic or the less active, for young and old, year-round.
Black Forest Hospitality:In Baiersbronn, tourism is not an Industry – the vacationer is made to feel a guest of the community. An open-heartes, humorous and above all hospitable reception awaits the traveles in the simple inns as well as the prize-winning hotels and restaurants.
Baiersbronn is rich in tradition, and works at maintaining it. The most impressive way to experience this is during one of the festivals, which are famous well beyond the bounds of Baiersbronn.
Tradition:Traditional festivals are favorites with the citizen of Baiersbronn and their guests. Some festivals have to do with a trade – like the Wine Festival. Others provide sparkling entertainment – like the Lighting of the Valley, which transforms the valley into a sea of lighted candles abd fireworks. In addition there are many concerts, sports events and other venues on the program.
Epicurean Pleasures: Baiersbronn is a mecca for gourmets: there is a total of six Michelin stars united in Baiersbronn. But the traditional cuisine of Swabia and Baden promises epicurean pleasures, too.
