Best points about the property:
" Live in a typical nubian village on a beautiful island on the Nile next to historical Aswan town. The house faces the riverfront with spectacular views of the desert sand dunes, tombs of the nobles, Aga Khan Mausoleum and Kitcheners Botanical Gardens. It has 1 bedroom with double bed, another with 2 single beds, 2 living rooms with sofa beds for 4 people. Independent Kitchen, 1 fully equipped bathroom and an exterior shower room. Enjoy fantastic sunsets overlooking the Nile from the private terrace with a shisha (water pipe)or from the downstairs cozy restaurant and cafe. Confortable house, amazing location, great view on the Nile, with the feluka boats right in front of the house, wonderful nubian hosts. one big problem : to access the house, need to go through movenpick, was fine for the first couple of days, but for some reason at the end of our stay the movenpick guards wouldnt let us through, almost got into a major fight with them, just so they could allow us to walk 30 seconds into the hotel to reach our house, and despite the fact that my parents were staying in the hotel ! very rude guards, and it really would have made no sense if they had forced us to take the public boat which was much more complicated.
