"Horta Da Anta is a beautifully kept cottage full of character and immediately one feels 'at home' there. The house is immaculately clean with well laundered, good quality bathroom and pool towels and bed linen, with additional covers and blankets for cooler evenings - which was very welcome. The garden and pool area is lovely - the pool is expertly maintained and very clean, there are lovely shady areas and verandas from which to see the pool as well as poolside loungers for the sun worshippers, and having a garden full of fruit and vegetables for our consumption was fantastic! We couldn't help but relax in such a lovely location. We definitely needed our car though as the nearest town is about 15km from the house, but local amenities were good and free internet access in Alentejo was a bonus. Everyone in our family (ages 6 to 40) loved Horta Da Anta and would recommend it as a successful holiday location!"

"Beautiful house, great pool, lovely (vegetable) garden. Kitchen was great for cooking (everything we needed was avalaible), wonderful atmosphere. House felt as if it was our own. House was cool in the hot summer of Alentejo."

"Le propriétaire est attentif à accueillir au mieux les locataires. L''accueil est donc convivial et chaleureux. La maison est très agréable, construite pour préserver la fraîcheur même en cas de fortes chaleurs. Elle est très bien équipee, bien entretenue et propre. Seul petit bemol : malgre son eloignement de la route, on entend le bruit de fond de la circulation, d''autant mieux qu''il s''agit d''un coin plutôt isolé. En ce qui nous concerne toutefois cela ne nous a pas dérangé car il s''agit vraiment d''un bruit très atténué. La région est très agréable même si il n''y a pas la mer ni beaucoup de hauts lieux touristiques elle reste suffisamment proche de Lisbonne ou de la côte (1h30) pour en profiter et Evora (moins de 45mn) est vraiment une très belle ville. En bref nous sommes ravis de notre séjour et de la propriété Horta da Anta qui nous a offert son confort, son potager et sa belle piscine pendant 15 jours pour notre plus grand plaisir. Dommage qu''il n''y est pas de système de sécurité pour la piscine pour permettre de profiter encore mieux du séjour en toute serenité avec les enfants !"
