" Anglet enjoys a privileged position on the Basque Coast, nestled between 4.5km of fine sandy beaches and 235 hectares of pine forest. Whether you want to play golf or tennis, swim or surf, or just relax with family and friends, this area known as ‘Chiberta’ has something for everyone, children and adults alike. For adults there is the great Chiberta 18-hole golf course and a large selection of beachfront bars and restaurants within a ten-minute walk down at the 'Chambre d’Amour'. With the beach on your doorstep, surf schools are only 300m away and there is a children’s supervised play area only 400m away which is payable locally. For adults there is a great golf course about 500m away and a large selection of bars and restaurants within a five minute walk. Relax in the garden or, if you feel energetic enough, walk or bike the coastal path all the way to Biarritz or Bayonne.
