With its own entrance and small outside space it is ideal for those who enjoy cycling, fishing, beach, golf, horse riding, swimming ,walking and fun activities. Situated in an ancient medieval village with small winding streets (no cars) and an historic 10th century church, this is a charming, romantic location nestled in the hills overlooking the river Tech. Close to the Spanish border (18km) and with fast roads to the beaches (34km) and nearby lakes (13km) this is an ideal spot for all your holiday requirements. "
" Palalda has a popular sports bar which serves food and drink and has panoramic views across the river Tech. There is also a bakery, mini-supermarket and post office, all 2 minutes walk from the accommodation. There are several picnic areas in and around the village, one was originally a site for washing clothes. The beaches from Canet Plage to Collioure and further are all different, Canet Plage is large and very popular with lots of restaurants and entertainment for children. Argeles sur Mer is similar. Collioure is a place of historic interest and in-between these resorts are smaller beaches for naturists or those who prefer a quieter location. "

Means of access Arriving in Perpignan take the A9 motorway at junction 41 or 42 towards Barcelona, exit at junction 43 Le Boulou. From Le Boulou follow directions to Ceret and then to Amelie Les Bains-Palalda. Approximate driving time - 40 minutes.
The village of Palalda can be seen on the right from the main Ceret road. Just continue along this road until you see Leader (a large supermarket) on your left and a roundabout with Palalda signposted. Follow the road over the old bridge and when you reach the T junction at the end of the road turn right. Palalda is at the top of the hill.
