"I really enjoyed my stay at apartment Chenconceau in Amboise. The apartment was just as it looks in the pictures. It''s simply furnished. The kitchen was well-equipped, with a lovely view to the garden (which you can use) from both the kitchen and living room. One sunny afternoon, I sat and watched hot air balloons rising over the walls of the chateau from my chair in the living room :-) The owners are lovely people. They met me at the station, and returned me to the station at the end of my stay. We were able to communicate without any problems. They speak a little English plus remnants of my schoolgirl french from 1970 - we had a fun conversation :-)"

"This apartment was just amazing with good, responsible landlords. It was situated in a quiet and peaceful location in town with adequate parking and walking distance to Chateau d'Amboise (5-mins) and downtown (10 mins). It had a great little garden area to hang, eat, and enjoy some quiet time. The Chenonceau 1-Bd apartment was spacious for a family of four: it had a good size combined dining rm and living room, an eat-in kitchen with everything you needed to prepare meals and a 3/4 bathroom. It had cable TV too. The only things that would of made the apartment even better is Internet/WIFI (for the adults) and a DVD Player (for the kids). Note that the Internet Café in town is closed (out-of-business). The only functional Internet is one terminal at the Amboise Visitor Center (note it only has a French Keyboard). Overall, we loved the apartment and looking forward to staying there again."
